The workflow is never finished.

The workflow at Sweetflow is anything but perfect.

Some days, recording feels effortless. Other days, the studio reminds me that there’s still a better way to do something. That’s part of the process.

I change things in this room constantly.

Sometimes it’s because something genuinely isn’t working. Sometimes I become convinced that moving a keyboard three inches will improve my life. Occasionally, it actually does.

The changes range from integrating new hardware to refining software settings, solving compatibility problems, simplifying MIDI routing, or reorganizing the desk. Most are small. On their own, they barely seem worth mentioning. Together, they determine whether recording feels effortless or whether the technology gets between me and an idea.

I remember exactly why I made each decision—the problem I was trying to solve, the alternatives I considered, and the tradeoffs involved. I find real joy in sharing that reasoning with people who think about studios and creative workflow the same way.
